Roosaaf
Raron God of Air
Roosaaf is one of the three elemental deities in Raro, along with
Oosh
and
Aÿ. Roosaaf controls the air and wind and it is their loving embrace
that engenders the richness of the environment. According to some,
Aÿ has a history with Oosh and became jealous, but Roosaaf remained
calm and helped Oosh win back Aÿ and convinced them to return the
water to Lake Raro. To most, however, Roosaaf is a minor god
typically only invoked in times of great distress.

Divine Symbols & Sigils
Dfesas, six-legged horse-like creatures, and koovs, waterbirds
with membraned wings, are the animals in the
ushaadfaay, Raron zodiac, whose primary element is air.
Another symbol for Roosaaf is two dots arranged in a vertical
line. The dots represent both the thing and the environment that
the thing belongs in as equal parts of its component. While Oosh
represents the physical matter and Aÿ represents its growth over
time, Roosaaf is associated with the space between things that
define them and the processes and forces that act upon a thing
and make up its surroundings.
